Chef Philippe and one or more members of his team will come in to your restaurant and take a close, hard look at your business -- the kind of look YOU can't take because you're too close to it. We look for opportunities for you to grow and sustain your business. We look at your competitors, your internal business processes, your menu, your kitchen, your work flow, your marketing (including social media and websites), and your operations costs. We present our findings to you in our Initial Findings Report. We will then work with you to help you identify, strategize, and prioritize policies, processes, and procedures which you decide will help your business grow.
Chef Philippe and his group will take a look around town to see who your competition is. We will compare their business to your business to seek opportunities for you to get a one-up on them. We will compare the strengths and weaknesses of your restaurant and theirs to help you strategize the best way to get ahead of them - - to help you find something that sets you apart from them and appeals to customers ensuring they come back again and again.
A completed SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) Report will be included as part of Chef Philippe's Initial Findings Report which will be submitted to you at the end of the assessment.
Chef Philippe will send an anonymous mystery diner to your restaurant during one of your busiest times. The mystery diner will not be identified to you or your staff and will assess your restaurant on three basic fronts: Appearance, Staff, and Food. The Mystery Diner will use Chef Philippe's Mystery Diner Checklist to evaluate the appearance of your restaurant (both inside and outside), order food, eat a meal, and observe the staff. service, and work-flow aspects of your business.
The completed Mystery Diner Checklist report will be included as part of Chef Philippe's Initial Findings Report which will be submitted to you at the end of the assessment.

Chef Philippe will personally evaluate your kitchen operations starting with recipes, food prep, procedures, and work flow and ending with evaluation of your kitchen staff and overall kitchen operations.

Chef Philippe will take a look at your menu engineering, recipe costs, and employee related expenses to see if there are areas which present an opportunity to increase your profit. Chef Philippe has credible experience from owning restaurants and a chef school to help you identify financial opportunities that can save money and make your business more profitable. There are many ways to cut corners and still provide quality food and service to your customers and maintain employee satisfaction.
Chef Philippe's recommendations regarding the finances of your business will be included as part of Chef Philippe's Initial Findings Report which will be submitted to you at the end of the assessment.
Once the assessments and evaluations are complete, Chef Philippe's team will compile an Initial Findings Report which points out your strengths as well as areas that we see an opportunity for you to improve your business. This report will help your team and Chef Philippe's team work together to strategize the best options which will create growth and sustainability for your restaurant. Then we will all work together to execute those strategies, finding ways to get new and repeat customers, and get your business working at its optimal levels.
